As a student association, we are run for and by students. In addition to our board, we have various committees with their own responsibilities and get-togethers that contribute to the vibrancy of the Association.
- ACCIE - Activity Committee
The ACCIE or Activity Committee helps organising monthly activities and socials where you can get to know fellow-boxers outside of the ring. Activities range from paintball and live cluedo to valentines dinners and introduction camps. The ACCIE helps to keep our Association lively even outside the gym.
The ACCIE helps host monthly socials at ‘t Gat van Groningen where we play beer pong, do shots and dance like no one is watching. They also help host smaller and bigger events such as a Gala which we host in cooperation with other associations and a yearly camp where go drinking and play games in Schiermonnikoog.
- Batacie - Batavierenrace Committee
Every year, Pugilice participates in the Batavierenrace. The Batavierenrace is the largest student relay race in the world from Nijmegen to Enschede. It is 175km long and divided in 25 stages. During this weekend, we go camping at the campus of the University of Enschede where we go drinking, play games and party.
The Batacie ensures that our participation and transport are being taken care of. They ensure that we have large buses available during the weekend which causes a lot of near-death experiences for our members when racing between the drop-off points, and that we all have a place to sleep.
- Commcie - Communication Committee
The Commcie consists of the association’s creatives and gossip girls who work together to publish a bi-annual Pugilice magazine; the Knockout. This magazine contains exclusive interviews, games, cooking recipes and explicit content. This committee works throughout the year on collecting spicy content, conducting interviews and summarising events. They also support the board with further communication about the association.
